RFQ

Using RFQ Templates

Available on both our Starter and Professional Plans, RFQ templates save you time and simplify sending requests.

Create and save templates with your frequently used information, eliminating the need to re-type or copy content repeatedly. Purchaser empowers you to achieve more with less effort by preventing unnecessary repetition in your work.

Use RFQ templates to ensure clear and consistent:

  • Introductions (like your name and company background)

  • Delivery details (like location and timeline)

  • Repeated product or service requirements

  • Technical specifications or special requirements

  • Any formatting (including bulleted lists, tables and section headings, and more)

Create a Template

Templates help you move faster by pre-filling common parts of your RFQs.

  • Select Create RFQ.

  • Within the From a template section, choose the Select Template button.

  • Choose from your existing templates or create a new template.

You can start customizing your new template immediately. Anything you add to your template will automatically show up when you start a new RFQ using this template.

  • Name Your Template: Give your template a clear and descriptive name.

  • Add Custom Language: Use our header and text formatting tools to add any repeatable text you need.

  • Add Tables: Easily copy an existing table from a spreadsheet, or create a new one and customize its columns and headers.

  • Add Placeholders: Insert text that you can easily change later, or leave columns and sections empty to fill in when you create future RFQs.

Once your template is complete, use it for the RFQ you're building or for any future RFQs. You can always add, change, or remove content in the RFQ editor, even when using a template. All templates you create are saved automatically.
